During November and December I am working on a visual ‘Lockdown 2 and Tier 3 journal’ in a A3 recycled sketchbook,this is thanks to the suggestion of a dear friend and extremely talented artist Angela Stocker.

The idea is to choose a favourite book (my desert island book would be The Wind in the Willows), randomly select 30 words from its pages, then each day record the image that comes to mind. Some days it has been very clear and obvious which book I am inspired by , and others definately not so !

Now I have quite an eclectic mix covering the pages, some have taken quite a while to work on , others, especially when I have just not been in the mood, are very quick, but either way it has been an engaging and distracting experience that I have thoroughly enjoyed, during this difficult period of time.
